I can bring your application(s) in-house, working with your vendor (if available) to understand all the components, their location, installation and configuration.  Then I will build upon that foundation to incorporate current and future needs of your business. 

On three previous occasions I took over projects left incomplete by other vendors and I succeeded in all cases, not only taking the applications to the next level, but also producing step-by-step documentation and conducting user training to help staff.

Develop and/or support a shopping cart e-commerce web application?

I know how to develop shopping cart web applications in both CGI and Java EJB environments.  I developed a shopping cart e-commerce website for Inernational Masters Publishers, Inc. that allows users to purchase multiple items and then pay by credit card in a secure environment.  On the back-end, I linked the application to a mainframe to process the orders.

I also identified problem areas that no one had considered, and solved those issues as well.

I have 14 years of hands-on experience in numerous technologies, on multiple platforms, and I continuously update my skills.

I can simplify complex technical jargon, both verbally (i.e., in user training and presentations) and in the step-by-step graphical documentation I produce to help staff become self-sufficient.
