 Hi, my name is Ken Collins. I am a senior technologist with a Masters degree in M.I.S.,
a Bachelor's in electrical engineering, and 14 years of hands-on experience in numerous technologies and on multiple platforms as a high level problem solver,
advising clients (IBM, International Masters Publishers, American Credit Card Processing Corp, etc.), then making their IT visions a reality.My experience spans the entire systems development lifecycle
(SDLC), but I know the dangers of a waterfall model, so I employ an iterative, proof-of-concept approach when I follow-through on a project.
I am usually hired by Vice Presidents of large companies or owners of small businesses who know what they want to accomplish conceptually, but need me to
make recommendations regarding platform(s), technologies, and in-house development vs. third party product purchase and customization. Rarely am I asked
only to participate in the analysis phase. Typically, I see projects through to completion: working independently, or teaming with different business units, departments, and vendors to get jobs done.
